Climate: Moderate and semi-arid, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 47°C and average annual rainfall of 370 mm.
Soil: Predominantly loamy and sandy loam, low in organic matter, nitrogen (N), and phosphorus (P), but medium to high in potassium (K). Deficiencies in micro-nutrients like zinc, sulfur, and iron are emerging, especially in cash crops.
